ANYONE ELSE FEEL A CHANGE IN THE VIBRATIONS LATELY??
It’s like it’s the season of overwhelm… the days are shorter and Christmas seems to always have people to the MAX!!
Well… I am human and I do feel this same anxiety as you.
Seriously— when I am having a challenging moment (like everyone else) I remind myself that things can be a WHOLE lot shittier! (I’m getting REAL with you here people.)
I am able to turn off the ego and switch on my SELF LOVE LANGUAGE. I remind myself that I have way too many good things going on to get carried away and derailed because of the TINY NEGATIVES that try and creep in.
So… “How do I do this?”, you ask?
Listen up!
As we head into the most JOYFUL (notice the language wasn’t STRESSFUL) time of the year… I want to remind you of some of the simple things I do to SURVIVE THE CHAOS:
1. TAKE A MOMENT:
Notice I didn’t say take an eternity … I said “moment” … Allow yourself to FEEL the emotion and then release it. Don’t hang on to it…CRY, SCREAM. CURSE… then just LET IT GO!!!
2. SNEAKERS ON:
Those who know me know this is my first line of defense. I put on my shoes and sweat… even if its 15mins… I do it! When the body moves the mind releases… it’s a MUST for me to survive!
3. SILENCE IS GOLDEN:
As a Mom of 4 SWEET kiddos (notice I didn’t say savages … language LOL) I totally get that this may seem impossible. But keep it simple… there are days I just hide in the closet, lock the bathroom door or sneak into the pantry for 5mins and just breathe. If you’re able to do a full meditation or something like that then do it… if not, KEEP IT SIMPLE!!
4. ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE:
This is a biggie and it takes practice and consistency… I suggest this to all my clients as well as it has been a game changer for me. Each day I journal (sometimes now reflect) on things I am grateful for each day and focus on those blessings. No matter how big or small it’s important to send your energy into gratitude.
So… I know this season offers it’s challenges… but please remember YOU’RE TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED. Life is tough… but if you focus on all the wonderful things in your life it will be a GAME CHANGER!
