Oh the HOLIDAYS are all about PEACE AND LOVE … and …. yeah STRESS!! Who are we kidding??

It’s weeks of non-stop obligations, office events, kids parties… Mom’s exhausted with no time for themselves.

If there ever was a time when you needed to take a moment for yourself now is it! Do you want to fall face and eyes into January feeling like a bag of dirt?? Or would you like to float in with a great mindset and goals waiting to be crushed??

There are some things as Moms we need to do this Holiday season:

1) We need to cross stuff off our list and learn to say no!

Like… if you’re a person who dreads sending out Christmas cards… THAN DON’T!! Don’t volunteer at your kids school this month if you are feeling FULL… SAY NO and trust that we understand and we get it!

If there are any JUDY McJUDGES out there, take a hike and keep your judgments for yourself… WE DON’T HAVE TIME FOR YOU EITHER!

2) WORKOUT!!!

I promise this will be your game changer!! 20-30mins of activity a day will keep your mind clear, your body maintained, you will be energized!! It will take you into 2019 without the guilt of the Holidays eating away at your confidence. You will be able to enjoy the holidays without any “inner mean girl” tearing you down. SO DO IT!!!

3) SHOP ONLINE!

I am telling you.. it’s incredible! It has saved me so much time and stress. I actually find I spend less money bc I think about what I want and not impulse buy. Pour your self a glass of wine (or tea 😉 ) and enjoy.

4) GET OUT!

OK I know you’re tired and feel like putting on your fuzzy jammies and curling up with Netflix but GO TO THE PARTY. Get out with your friends and socialize. It’s so important to nurture those bonds. If you haven’t heard me say it before… LAUGHING is the best! SO GO DO IT!!!

Bonus points if you wear something sparkly 😉

5) BAKE GOODIES AND EAT THEM!!

Yup… do it! What is the point of working out if you can’t live!

6) Take time to do NOTHING

… just be home and enjoy the peace and quiet (HAHA – kidding your kids will still be fighting) and play board games or something simple.

It’s so important to be present this holiday season… be romantic with your special person, laugh with your kids and take some time to reflect on your success this past year … then set your intention for 2019!
